Bailey's Cottages (#6) Relaxing cabin on the lake

Bailey’s Cottages is a fourth-generation family run resort located in the rural countryside on Moira Lake. Cottage 6 is a rustic cottage containing: 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 daybed (linen and pillows not included); dining area with refrigerator, gas stove, microwave and furnace, camping utensils, dishes and pots and pans; buckets for carrying water from nearby well , deck, picnic table and fire pit. There is a comfort station (showers and flush toilets) nearby that is maintained daily. What is a "Housekeeping" Cottage? If this is your first time staying in a housekeeping cottage—welcome! Unlike a traditional hotel, a housekeeping cottage is a self-catering experience. This means that while we provide the beautiful space and the tools you need, guests are responsible for keeping the cottage tidy during their stay and leaving it "broom clean" upon departure. This tradition helps us keep our rates affordable and maintains that authentic "cottage" feeling for everyone. At Bailey’s, we embrace the simple life! Our cottages offer a true, unplugged getaway with just the right touch of convenience: Power & Comfort: Your cabin is equipped with electricity, so you can keep your devices charged and enjoy cozy lighting in the evenings. The Bathhouse: Similar to a Provincial Park, our central washroom is a short, scenic walk away. It is fully equipped with hot water, private showers, and flush toilets. Fresh Water: For cooking and dishes, a fresh-water well is located nearby. A quick stroll to the pump provides all the water you’ll need for the cabin. It’s all part of the classic cottage tradition—slowing down and enjoying the Great Outdoors! Beautiful rural setting on the lake with hay fields, apple trees and access to the lake - canoes, kayaks and fishing off the docks. Guests have access to the docks, boat launch and free parking, wood for campfires ($10/bundle), kayak and canoe rentals, small sand area - great for young children, lots of lawn space for games and areas for walking.
