Extremely loud outdoor night club across the street that will not let you sleep. Felt like a concert for 30,000 people but only about 100 people attending. Never have I had to adjust my sleep schedule due to sound of the hotel. I ended up sleeping at 2 or 3am each night. Some nights the party would end at 2 and then I would hear an after party start at 4. After party club located within hotel that made the hallways stink of cigarettes smell. When I asked hotel If there was a party the next night they assured me there wasn’t. Low and behold it was every night including weeknights. I did not trust the staff after this. Avoid unless you love being up to party all night. Also I suggest that if you don’t speak a word of Turkish that you look elsewhere. I speak some Turkish which helped but the language barrier was pretty big most of the time. The health club was very nice though. And it was very close to all the water sports which I loved. The young staff were nice and a couple of them tried hard. But it wasn’t quite the service I was looking for. On one occasion I was taking a nap because I couldn’t sleep at night, and the hotel pool bar started blasting music even louder than the night club at 4pm. I went down to ask them to stop it. They only slightly reduced the volume and I was never able to catch up on my sleep. It’s hard when you have jet lag coming from North America and you can’t rest properly. It was supposed to be a relaxing trip, ended up being quite stressful.
