Lovely week, the river swimming was the highlight!

We had a great week at this property in July. The setting is really incredible with the river and the weir for private swimming. The rope swing kept our 15 year old (and the grown ups) entertained and was great fun. Our dog also had an amazing week swimming in the river! The house is in a very peaceful setting and nearby Loches has some nice restaurants and a good market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Philippe, the host, was very friendly and great communication before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here, particularly if you have teenagers as the river swimming is way more exciting than a pool!

Fantastic property

Wonderful, unique, property, in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the private river pool, using the rope swing, and playing on the inflatable in the current from the weir. The river pool was definitely more interesting and exciting than an actual swimming pool - perhaps more suited to older children. Philippe was very helpful and informative.

Gewoon in één woord: magnifique!

De fotos op de site doen deze plek geen eer aan, in het echt is de plek nog vele malen beter, de schoonheid van de natuur, de rivier, de oude molen en het huis, is gewoon fantastisch!! We hebben enorm genoten, Phillipe is een zeer goede gastheer, vriendelijk ontvangst en begeleiding. Een aanrader voor een echte gezinsvakantie!om

vacances paisibles au bord de l'eau

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans cette maison où nous apprécions la tranquillité. Le jardin est fermé ce qui est idéal pour le chien et l'accès privé à la rivière est un vrai plus. La maison est ancienne, mais propre. Parfait pour une semaine de repos avec quelques excursions dans les environnements.

Un lieu unique

La location est idéalement placée au beau milieu de l'Indre avec un accès direct sur une large zone de baignade (attention aux très jeunes enfants) et l'opportunité de partir en kayak. Ping pong couvert, plancha électrique, larges espaces verts. Une maison bien équipée, au calme, mais très près de la ville de Loches. Et un merci à Marion pour son accueil et son sourire.

Excellent holiday location at an amazing location

Truly wonderful holiday location, amazing location and a really nice privat house on a stunning private island. The swimming part of the river is the largest private pool you will ever come across. part of the garden is completely walled which was great for the dogs which could walk freely. The bedrooms and the beds were recently renovated and replaced and slept wonderful. The host Philippe is a wonderful and nice person. He comes by every evening to look after his horses, he will give you full privacy but is also great company for a chat and a drink. Again an amazing location and a wonderful house, highly recommended!!

Nous recherchions un endroit au calme, en pleine nature pour nos vacances dédiées aux retrouvailles familiales et au repos. Nous l'avons trouvé dans ce moulin au charme ancien, très correctement équipé, avec une literie soignée et des activités proposées (canoë...)et possibles ( rando,vélo.. ) Le plan d'eau est un plus trés appréciable. Nous sommes répartis enchantés.

Charmante et grande maison dans un cadre magnifique, un petit paradis surtout lorsqu'il fait très chaud. Très agréable de se retrouver au bord de l'eau sous les arbres à lire un livre, se reposer, ... Les enfants et nous mêmes avons adoré le point d'eau, un morceau de rivière rien que pour nous! Bouée, matelas gonflable, saut à la corde, kayak, canoë, ... Accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire, toujours à disposition en cas de question ou problème. Je recommande!

Magnifique - beaucoup de caractère , très bien situé.

L'endroit est paisible et un havre de nature . Il est un véritable lieu d'histoire et de l'atmosphère pas seulement une maison de vacances. Notre hôte Philippe était sympathique et très serviable et aime évidemment son moulin. La maison a beaucoup d'éléments d'époque intéressants et des vues magnifiques de chaque pièce. La rivière et l'étang du moulin sont d'excellents endroits pour pêcher et juste profiter de l'environnement . Nous espérons vivement de revenir.

Exceptionnel!

Maison exceptionnelle à bien des égards! Pour les indécis que les seules photos n'auraient pas convaincus, n'hésitez pas. Le lieu est un havre de paix assez paradisiaque et la maison est fonctionnelle, lumineuse, très agréable à vivre et idéalement située pour profiter des richesses culturelles de la région ou visiter l'incontournable parc zoologique de Beauval.
