Excellent for before and after the TMB

Too many nice things to say… - Friendly - Helpful - Great location to town and bus stop - if you are going to spend money on a nice dinner try the half board… the 2 restaurants onsite were amazing and the Breakfast Buffet was hardy and plentiful - Stored my luggage for free for 11 days and had it in my room when I returned - Coffee machine in the lobby 24/7… lattes, hot choc and more - even an umbrella on the rainy afternoon

We had a wonderful view of Mont Blanc and enjoyed the location off the main tourist corridor. The bummer about the hotel is 1) lots of road noise of trying to sleep with the patio door open and night to cool off and 2) 0 airflow in the room at all, including the bathroom. A little ventilation would go a long way. 3) more lounge chair options in the pool area would be great.

The spa and staff at the spa were fantastic! But the staff at the lobby were hit or miss, some were really friendly and others left a bad impression. The amenities were nice but there were quiet a few kids at the hotel which I didn't expect for a spa / wellness space. The restaurant was great and so was the breakfast.

Shot out to Rita, one of the competent front desk managers. She exemplifies customer service and is a credit to the organization. Mixed Experience – Great Location, Helpful Staff,

I have mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. Let’s start with the positives: The location is excellent—very close to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, which is a must if you’re visiting Chamonix. The staff were friendly and gave us helpful advice on how to plan our time in town, especially around the time-specific Aiguille du Midi reservation. They helped us book our tickets and also recommended the two-day lift pass, which I highly suggest if you’re staying for more than one day. It gives you access to all the gondolas, and it was super convenient to pay for it right at the reception. I also appreciated the cold water stations on both sides of the hotel—great for filling up your bottle before heading out for the day. The hotel has two restaurants and the breakfast had a good variety, though I wish they offered freshly made fried eggs or omelets. Now for the downsides: While the room was clean, the carpet under the bed looked old and not very well maintained. Our biggest issue was the heat—there was no air conditioning, just a fan, and during a heatwave, that really affected our sleep. When I asked, they told me none of the rooms have AC, which might be something to consider depending on the time of year you’re visiting. The spa was just okay. Unfortunately, we saw several guests walking in with their shoes on, which made the area dirty, and no staff seemed to be supervising or enforcing any rules during our visit.

First time In Chamonix and Heliopic was a hyge win. Next to the Aguile du Midi lift and 2 mins from center ville. This was an amazing experience. The spa was incredible add on, and we used it everyday. We stayed in the privilege room and had an amazing view of the Alps. Plus very comfortable amenities and excellent staff. We were helped to a couple of hikes and recommendations. Will definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Chamonix. The hotel is top!

We absolutely love this hotel and only rated at a four because the check in staff were extremely rude, which didn’t start to a good stay. However, the place was amazing, loved the pool/spa and the individual hotel rooms, so more than made up for the rudeness of the staff member. It is also about a minute walk from the hotel to the Aiguille du Midi Gondola. Super walkable town, especially from this location.

The hotel is located right by the cable car to du Midi and close to the village center. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. It was nice to have spa for relaxation, especially after a day's outing.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The room was too dimly lit and this hotel does not have air conditioning. Breakfast had many choices but was just ok.
