The "Métairie des Gâcheries" is an estate of 4 warm cottages in a refined and peaceful setting with its remarkable views, surrounded by hills and forests. It is located near Champagne and Fontaine, in a splendid quiet and relaxing countryside of the Périgord Vert. In a large green space, the cottages will seduce you with their comfort and will offer a relaxing stay for the whole family: large secure swimming pool, beautiful spaces with playgrounds.<br><br>During the warm summer evenings, you can enjoy your private terrace but also the patio or the raised terrace with its brazier in the inner courtyard.<br><br>Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. If necessary, a baby bed is offered (on request) and free of charge.<br><br>At your disposal, parking, bicycles (including a tandem!), bowling alley, football field, ping-pong table, children's games: swing, slide, trampoline + games rooms with ball pool...<br><br>Three of the cottages have access for people with reduced mobility, with bedroom and bathroom accessible on the ground floor.<br><br>A hiking and cycling path borders the property for superb walks. Many visits (caves, castles, truffle or cognac museum, abbeys...) and outdoor activities are nearby (kanoë, lakes, acrobranch...). Cities of art and history such as Brantôme (the Venice of the Périgord), Nontron (capital of the knife), Aubeterre, Villebois-Lavalette, Cognac, Périgueux and Angoulême are nearby. And more than an hour away, Lascaux, Sarlat, La Roche Gageac, Les Eysies, Bergerac...<br><br>In addition to the traditional and seasonal farmers' markets, the truffle and foie gras markets will delight you from November to February. And in autumn comes the season of mushrooms that are very popular in our region.<br><br>The cottage "Le Pressoir", cosy interior, all comfort is equipped with a private terrace, but you can also enjoy the warm atmosphere of the enclosed courtyard with its patio to extend your evenings. <br><br>It is fully equipped and includes two bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor (accessible to people with reduced mobility, if necessary) composed of a bed/2 places and an adjoining bathroom/toilet, a kitchen opening onto the living room with wood stove. Upstairs: a bedroom with exposed beams (3 beds/1 place) and a bathroom with toilet. Interior equipment: Free Wi-Fi, flat screen, DVD player, fridge-freezer, microwave, hob, oven, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, clothes dryer....<br>Bed linen, towels and tea towels provided and rooms prepared on arrival.<br>Outdoor facilities: shaded terrace, barbecue, garden furniture, parking, garden, swimming pool with deckchairs, games room with ball pit, swing, trampoline, bicycles (free loan), football field...<br><br>Baby facilities: High chair and folding bed (on request) free of charge.<br><br>Non-smoking cottage.<br><br>Pets can be admitted by agreement.
