The pillows were the flattest, most uncomfortable pillows in existence. The shower curtain would not close completely on either side. Overall, the remodel you can tell many decisions were made to save money, but oddly enough the entire building was 74° or warmer to include the rooms which was just overly hot to try to sleep in. I actually had to turn the air conditioning on in December in Illinois in order to get the room cool enough to sleep. The staff was wonderful. The common areas were clean. The breakfast was decent. There could have been some more choices available and the schedule seemed a little bit wonky but it was over the holidays.

Room was good. Reaerved the room here for the pool. Got there and checked in and the pool was closed for repairs. Didnt tell us and disnt knowntill we went to go swimming. Theybsaid they told us but my sons and i both never heard them say the pool was closed. Iys crap.

Room was perfect, clean and fresh. Front desk person was polite and cheerful. Inside hotel was nice and welcoming. My only concern was that the sidewalks/parking lot had not been cleared from the recent snow so there was a very thick layer of ice that was slippery and hard to walk/drive on.

Clean, good value. We stayed in the suite with a separate sitting area & TV, which was nice. There was a small gym, but sufficient in that all I was looking for was a treadmill. Bed & pillows were not very comfortable. Breakfast was good with hot eggs, and a good selection of other options. A solid 3 star hotel.
