The manager and staff were very kind and friendly. The room is spacious and the jacuzzi bath was great. Each room having a kitchen area was also very convenient. The pool was refreshing but unfortunately a little too shallow for adults to swim properly. However, itโ€™s great for the kids and safe, as they can touch the floor easily. The hotel is looking a little old in parts but the area is beautiful and the people were so friendly. Itโ€™s 2 minutes to the beach by car,, or in the other direction, less than 5 minutes to the next town where there is a supermarket, bank and restaurants. I recommend trying the food at โ€˜Sugiโ€™s Kitchenโ€™ by the beach. The food is great, there is a mixture of Korean and western food and the owner speaks English. She is very friendly and really helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Doya Hotel. We actually stayed in two different rooms...one traditional and one with two doubles. I really enjoyed the rooms, but I will say that I felt like the bed was too soft. Either way, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and we would definitely go back. We also LOVED that you're one of the few hotels that keeps the pool open past August.
