Adorable bungalow close to downtown and Folly Beach! Park Pass Included!

Beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely landscaping. Just a 10 minute drive to the beach and roughly 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. You will enjoy spending time in this 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage right in the center of James Island. From the time you pull in the driveway, you will notice the attention to detail. ** Please note the driveway is long enough for 2 cars. Pack your bags for a trip to Charleston! The property is fully equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, sheets, towels. In addition, there is toilet paper and paper towels. While staying at this property, you will enjoy the screened in patio with a dining table for 4. There are also two comfortable chairs for sipping your morning coffee on the porch. When you feel like going to the beach, don’t bother packing your beach chair as there are 2 chairs along with boogie boards and beach towels. When you come home from the beach, you may even want to use the outdoor shower! Very private shower and the back of the house. In the evenings, whether you want to go out or stay in, there are tons of restaurants close by. However, when you feel like staying in, there is a grill at the property and a perfect area outside great for cooking out and enjoying the exterior features of this home.
There is even a fire pit right by the outdoor seating area guests are welcome to use. We do try to provide firewood for our guests. Whether you are coming for a long relaxing weekend or even a business trip, this home has it all! Take advantage of the County Park pass this home provides. The local park is only a couple miles away and has plenty to do! Great walking paths, bike rentals, paddleboard and kayak rentals too! This pass also allows you into the other local parks Charleston has to offer. What more can you ask for! We look forward to having you!

What a great place. We loved the screened in porch with the beautiful view. The hosts are great folks and responsive. Location is a safe neighborhood and close to Charleston and the beach. The park pass saved us and gave us access to many places.

We loved this cottage! My husband was stationed in Charleston over 30 years ago and this was his first time back. During my search for lodging, I was hoping to find a small quaint home with a genuine old school Charleston feel. Maybe a screened porch and a swing (hammock). This cottage had it all! The amenities are as described, A/C, heat worked well, W/D included and was very nice and practical. The bathroom shower is amazing! Convenient location to town and local spots. Great getaway!

We had such a great stay at Folly a Deux in Charleston! The property was exactly as described—clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. This was our second stay in under a year at the James Island bungalow, and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first time. Very quiet, comfortably furnished, and with all the amenities that a couple could need, the bungalow is conveniently located for events at The Citadel, to the sites, galleries, and restaurants in the historic downtown, and to Folly Beach, all with a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. This VRBO will continue to a go-to place for us in the future.
