A charming cottage located in the heart of Shem Creek just over the bridge in Mt. Pleasant. The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms each with queen size beds and one bathroom. Living area opens into the kitchen with a dining table for four and coastal chic decor. Enjoy the spacious yard while dining al fresco or walk to one of the great restaurants near by. Located a block from the waters of Shem Creek and you can rent kayaks and paddle boards right at the waters edge. In a 4 block radius there are 18 restaurants and bars, 2 coffee shops, a beverage super store, a farmers market, and 2 antique malls. The heart of downtown Charleston is a 12 minute drive and the beach at Sullivan's Island is 3 miles away. We came in town for a little league baseball tournament at Shipyard Park. This location was perfect, not too far from the park and many great restaurant choices nearby and in walking distance. The house itself is super cute, not too fancy, but everything you need with a great little backyard. Communication with the owner was perfect and we had no issues at all. I would recommend this rental. We had 2 adults and 2 small dogs.

Great place. Exactly as described. Great location too. Many activities were easily walkable and easy quick drive to the beach and downtown. Great communication with host. We would definitely stay here again.One suggestion would be to have beach towels/chairs for guest use. I think this would be a nice perk and added bonus, but would stay here again regardless.

This was a perfect stay for my husband and me. Is as quaint and lovely as the pictures show. So conveniently located to Shem Creek and lots of fantastic nearby restaurants there in Mount Pleasant. You can easily get to Charleston, although Mount Pleasant was wonderful in itself and this little cottage was even lovelier. Highly recommend!

Best Vrbo Experience

The house is in a great location for walking to restaurants or anything you may need, getting to Charleston, Folly Beach, and Isle of Palms. The property has a nice and quaint fenced in backyard. Joe, was very responsive with any needs. I would stay at one of Joe's properties again.
