Needed New Exterior Door Lock

Everything was good as usual but my room was nearest the exit door to the back parking lot. The door did not lock. At all . No key was needed to open it. Anyone could walk into the hotel. I reported it and they seemed aware of it. It was also a very dirty door and the rug was worn and rolled up on the end. They did nice renovations but i did not like the door unlocked. room was nice.

The place was in a perfect spot. Target and some bars and restaurants are nearby. Our room was newly renovated so it was so clean. Breakfast was good as well, daily eggs and different meats everyday. Susan, who checked us in, was so friendly and helpful. Though, the pillows were old and flat, and beddings were worn out but our 5-night stay was still great. Would definitely come back.

I like the area. All the conveniences were within walking distance for anything you needed. The room had a kitchenette and a full-size refrigerator. The continental breakfast was excellent every morning, too. The only thing that needed attention was the pool. It was dirty. It had rained the day before. My kids wanted to swim. They would not get into the pool because of how dirty it was.

This is a nice property. however it lacked certain amenities. The room didn't have tissues, note pad, pen. The air conditioning was noisy & it fluctuated. The rooms were ok, windows dirty. Housekeeping only came every other day. Cigarette butts on ground outside. The pool was uninviting, looked dirty. It was ok but i expected more from a Hilton property.

We had a wonderful stay here! Room was clean and spacious! Looked just like the pictures online! The front desk staff were so helpful and kind! The whole hotel was so beautiful! They just went through some renovations and they did a beautiful job! Not only was it a beautiful place to stay but you could walk to nearby shops and restaurants. Not to mention Target! It was over all a very nice stay! We will definitely stay here again!

The room we booked was unavailable because the air conditioning did not work. We got a different room. When we went to that room, it already had a guest in it. We got a 3rd room, supposedly non-smoking but the room reeked of smoke. And the bathroom was even worse. Disgusting. There was no other room available so we left and booked a nearby hotel. Great place to stay in Charleston and close to all points of interest. Clean hotel and rooms. Only drawback is the very slow elevators if you don’t like taking the stairs.

There was only one trash can in the entire room. The kitchen had no trash can and the lights and charging stations were all unplugged. It took us a minute to plug everything in. It’s almost like the room wasn’t set up. But overall, good.

At 6:30 PM, my room was still not ready. When I did get into the room, the bathroom floor was dirty, and there was a dead bug in there. When I turned on the overhead fan in the bedroom, huge clumps of dust flew around the room. Went down to breakfast on Monday at 8:30, breakfast is supposed to end at nine. There was barely any food left.

We stayed in room 102, right next to the utility room. Constant sound of an air compressor or water pressure system right at the head of the bed, at all hours. That’s ok
