Due to the area, right next to a marina, and in Charleston, the property is a bit dated and lamps are rusted. I think they could have been a bit more mindful and aesthetically pleasing with the renovations, but in the end it’s functional. The staff was great, breakfast was ok. We have had better LaQuinta breakfast’s, so I guess that’s varies by location, not company. I rate them a 4 because the breakfast, care of renovations and they charged my card twice although we paid on Expedia. I’m still awaiting my refund after 14 days.

Toilet wouldn’t flush, air filters were haphazardly hanging out of unit, sink missing drain cover, everything covered in rust, fridge missing, holes in wall where pictures may have been before but unclear.

Horrible night.

Front desk check in was nice. However, overall stay was horrible. Door would not properly shut. Informed desk and they said someone would look at it, no one ever did. We were given 2 towels and had to keep calling, finally got more. We got 2 stained pillows, took hours to get hem replaced Literally had to put a chair against the door at night to keep it closed. Kept awake by someones dogs barking literally all night. Just ridiculous.
