Property is run down and dirty. Dresser in room had a broken handle, corners of room were dirty, bathtub was chipped and dirty. No microwave and no refrigerator. An quick overnight.

The front desk crew was very helpful. The carpet seemed to hold odor in places. Would suggest getting rid of the carpet in the long hallways and just using tile. We did call the front desk crew to come help us with TV set and they did willingly and promptly.

this place is a dump. i have stayed in La Quinta's my entire working career and never stayed in one this bad. Staff was miserable and there is a bait and switch move going on here. they advertise a reasonable rate for the area, but have a second building next door they put you in for this rate. this building needs to be torn down.

The location was great. We were assigned to the back building because we reserved through Expedia. We were told we couldn't get Wyndham Rewards points even though we are members. The back building hasn't been renovated and has much corrosion due to the salty air. No ice or luggage racks in the back building and the outside elevator can't be called from the ground floor. So we had to walk up a flight of stairs to get the elevator and take to the ground level to load luggage. My husband has accessibility problems which I indicated but our room was at the end of the corridor for him to walk.

I think the location of this property was convenient for us, but I was very surprised that there are two buildings. One is the hotel and one is more like a motel. We were two single women traveling staying in two separate rooms and we were put in the building that’s like a motel. We checked in late and we had to go outside. of the hotel and into this very outdated building where the doors to each hotel room opened to the outside with the highway just beyond a small strip of land. I did not feel safe at all. Anything could’ve happened on that outside balcony and no one would’ve heard it. The bathroom was not clean except for the toilet. The tub was so gross that I was not gonna step inside and the area around the counter had not been wiped. They were old stains of something on it. The only thing that saves this hotel is its location, but it’s been many years since I’ve had to stay in something this cheap and this dirty.

Upon arrival had to call 3 x’for someone to come to desk and check us in. Room had no fridge which was necessary for husband’s medication and when tried to explain the women at desk kept talking over me and than claimed I was yelling and she hung up on me will never go to Laquinta again. AWFUL!!

Quick trip from hotel to downtown Charleston, 5 minute drive. Whole place needs a new paint job. A guest’s dog peed right in front of front desk. I told staff it was there. 45min later I passed by again, and it hadn’t been wiped up. A yellow, plastic sign was put over the urine puddle “wet floor” caution. Really?! Lazy staff or no quality standard.
