My room was very quiet at night with no road noise. It was clean, but a bit old re. paintwork etc. The fridge had no control button and so the items froze a couple of times! Breakfast was good, with nice eggs, but it was a shame it finished at 9.00am on weekdays - sometimes people like to lie-in on their holiday! The customer service from Katrina and Swantelle was very good, but one of the other receptionists was a bit abrupt. It was lovely to chat with you Katrina! This hotel is in a very safe area, with nice walks nearby. I recommend going to old Mt Pleasant village and the pier under the bridge (which is spectacular), as well as visiting Charleston etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

NO HOT WATER for shower in the morning. Expedia gave me partial refund credit for my next hotel. Very pleased with that! Be sure to take a shower before 8am! I would have given them a 5 STAR but a hot shower should be part of the total package after 12 hours of driving and / or waking up and getting a fresh start to your day! Be sure to ask if they have the hot water problem addressed.
