I was given a key for a room last night that was already occupied. When I did get to my actual room, it smelled so strongly of men’s cologne that I can still smell it on my clothes today. The air conditioner (or something else by the window) made loud pops all night like someone was throwing rocks at the window. Not a great experience but maybe they were just having an off night… Very clean, other than the rocks at the window it was very quiet.

The hotel was okay, but I was disappointed with a breakfast coffee selection much more limited that other Hamptons, two exterior doors that wouldn't open with my key cards, and "hot " breakfast selections that were barely warm. Staff was welcoming and solved the key card issue for us. Perhaps it is just my preferences, but I was very disappointed with the high fee from an outside company for parking. I expect the hotel to do that work for me and include parking in the cost of the room. We will find another option on our next trip to Charlotte.
