The hotel is in a very convenient area for all that I had to do in Charlotte. I have stayed in the general area many times but this was the first time that I stayed at this hotel. The hotel appeared fine upon entry but when I got into my room there was mold and mildew in the bathroom. The wallpaper was peeling and had mildew on it. The room also contained a mildew smell that would not go away. I alerted the management and he said he couldn't do anything about it since I booked through Expedia.

I booked a king size bed with the jet tub. We got there late at night and when we got to the room it looked like someone slept in the bed I tried calling the front desk but the phone wasn’t working so called from my personal phone and they told me to come down to the front desk to get another room with a jet tub. Other than that my stay was wonderful. Easy check in and easy check out. Also if you reserve a room there is a $25 fee

The Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte North is a tired hotel. The lobby is nice, but that's about it. The corridors and room smelled musty. The elevators are slow. The bathroom had no hand soap, the light bulb was burned out, and the sink was very slow to drain. There were hardly any tissues or toilet paper. The curtains were ripped. The carpet was dirty. I'm shocked that Hilton allows their name to go on this hotel, time for renovation.

Overall our stay was great and the staff was very friendly. The room was of good size for our stay and was very clean and orderly. My only complaint is that the shower soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers were an annoyance. They have been placed near the front of the shower where you stand under the water. It causes you to turn into them every time you move.

Perfect location if you are visiting the PNC Music Pavilion. Close to highway and easy access to airport. Mall with many dining options less than a mile away. Breakfast buffet on site. Aiden at the front desk was friendly and helpful!
