Hotel had been updated a few years ago and was very clean. Staff was helpful snd friendly. Was nice and quiet but beware you are charged $8 per week for parking in their lot no matter how many nights you are there. Breakfast was good and lady in charge of it very helpful and personable. Was fairly close to Monticello, which we visited. Had to ask for clean towel at the desk for second morning but I received them right away. We would stay there again.

I stay here because of the proximity to the interstate. The breakfast is good and the lady that takes care of breakfast buffet is an excellent host. She welcomes guests with true southern hospitality; it’s a great way to start the day.

Interesting that you can receive a breakfast, or coffee, but ask for a bottle of water, one half the size of a complementary bottle from Hilton or Marriott, and be told “No, those are for other guests.” Want to use the laundry facilities? You’ll be directed to Wawa to get change for the machines. It’s not every team member. Some are genuinely stellar but there are a couple that do not represent the property well.

I was pretty pleased with the breakfast. I would've loved a waffle maker, but the spread wasn't bad overall. The dining area was FULL and I'm not sure how many rooms there are so the room:chairs ratio might be a tad small. The front desk staff was alright, but the woman up there this morning was wonderful! She was upbeat and polite. The room was clean. I did have to ask and go downstairs for more towels because there were only 2, which I thought was a tad odd for a double bed room. However, the room was warm. The lowest the thermostat went to was 68, but I don't think it ever reached that low. Parking lot was nice and the rear lot, even better .

We generally stay loyal and attempt to book at all Holiday Inn locations where convenient to where we travel. This particular location was outstanding. The cleanest most unkept and modern hotel in the chain. The breakfast was undoubtedly the best and plentiful of any Holiday Inn we’ve ever stayed at. And the staff the most courteous and friendly. Should be a mentor location for all your other locations. We will be back and highly recommended it to our friends and family.
