Perfect, affordable studio.
Great location, great hostess, perfect studio apartment for 2 people. This nicely appointed, well-cleaned studio has everything one or two people might need as a landing place in Chartres, a few blocks easy walking distance from the justly celebrated Cathedral and the heart of the old city. It is easy to locate by its proximity to the Hotel Dieu Hospital, despite the inability of the GPS to find the street probably due to inadequate information. The full name of the street is Rue du Dr Gabriel Marnoury. The studio has ample closet space, modern and comfortable bathroom facilities creatively fitted to the space, a well-appointed small kitchen space, and comfortable chairs and table. This affordable space was simply perfect for what we wanted. To top it off, Anne was a warm, friendly, and helpful hostess whose English was plenty adequate to ensure a comfortable and secure stay. Private off-street parking was great. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
