The Coyote Bluff Cabin

Coyote Bluff rests on a secluded lot and has some of our best views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Off of the deck you can relax in the hot tub and enjoy all that nature has to offer. Once inside, you’ll be greeted by original artwork and a wall of windows that frames the natural beauty outside. A large stacked-stone wood-burning fireplace creates the perfect setting when the temperature drop. Coyote Bluff also features a comfortable seating area, a flat-screen TV with Live Hulu service, high-speed Wi-Fi and a land-line with free long distance calling.

The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a king-size bed and a private entrance opening onto comfortable porch seating area, just steps away from the outdoor hot tub. And when you want to stay in, you can prepare your favorite meal in the fully-equipped kitchen or use the outdoor gas grill located near the cabin’s front door.

In the loft, you’ll find Coyote Bluff to be an architectural gem. The cabin features an interior cat walk with binoculars for mountain viewing. Also upstairs, you’ll find a queen-size bed and a quaint sitting area, furnished with a full-size futon, nestled into a wall of windows for a breathtaking view. All in all, Coyote Bluff offers comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to five people.

Due to our location, the road leading to this property is steep, gravel covered and can be affected by weather. Four Wheel Drive/All Wheel Drive is not necessary; however it will provide better traction and may provide peace of mind.

Great stay!
Cabin was secluded and offered a great deal of privacy. Our dog loved exploring. The floor to ceiling windows offered an incredible view.

Weekend getaway
The cabin was perfect for us, would have preferred to have the views less obstructed by trees since the location clearly has the potential for long range views. Drove to Ft. Mountain for good hiking and views. Loved the hot tub and the cabin layout and function.

Lovely cabin
the cabin is very nice, clean & inviting on the inside, The outside could use a little TLC but it didn't affect my stay at all, just an observation. Great views and is close to the state park. If you like privacy (I do!) then this is your kind of place. no neighbors around at all! I will go again!

Great View, Peaceful
In short, I would likely stay here again. Now for some details…. The view is great! I slept in the loft to see the night sky. It was just really peaceful, and the neighboring houses/cabins were far enough away so I really didn’t hear anything other than the breeze, the nearby (seasonal?) stream, wildlife, and the occasional vehicle on hwy 52 (few and far between during my stay) The cabin itself could use a refresh. It is a nice cabin - it has a mildly rustic feel, and I like the way it is laid out. It just needs a little TLC. The sectional sofa has seen better days, and the coffee table as well. The fireplace was clean. I did not use it, but it looked fine. I don’t know about the master bed, since I stayed in the loft. The bed up there was comfortable, and the futon couch was a nice place to sit and read. Honestly, everywhere in the cabin except the restrooms was within sight of the wall of glass. That was really nice. I didn’t use the hot tub, but the cover could have stood a wipe down (pollen). Still, I did open the cover, and the water looked clean to me. Next time, I will use it. On the downside, I would say the grounds need a good going over, and the cabin’s exterior could use some help. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here. There were no problems, except one very brief power outage. Everything seemed to work as it should. Above all, it was peaceful, and I will book it again next time I need some peace and quiet. The view!

Gorgeous Views
The location and the views were great. Very quiet (if you don't count when someone was target shooting), the views are breathtaking. The road to get to the cabin is very steep and narrow, so make sure your car can make it. The cabins are secluded, blocked by trees, so you have your privacy. That was a huge plus for me. The cabin itself is nice but needs some updates. Especially the kitchen appliances. The bed on the first floor needs a new mattress. Just be aware that the second floor bedroom is in open space. There are no doors, only in the bathroom. You won't have any privacy if you stay in the 2nd floor bedroom. But the views from there are fantastic. I loved it there.
