Charming Burt Lake Cottage

This beautiful Burt Lake home features 3 bedrooms with 2 full baths, a fully stocked kitchen, living space and a three season room all with gorgeous updates and a cottage vibe that is the perfect amount of cozy. The first bedroom has a day bed, second bedroom has a queen bed; a bathroom is shared between these two. The master has a king bed with a full attached bathroom. In every room there are windows that showcase gorgeous lake views. The kitchen is fully stocked and has been newly updated with high end appliances. There is a dining nook off of the kitchen with a bay window. The kitchen flows into a welcoming living room area that has more charming lake views and a TV with plenty of seating.

Outside features a large, open fenced in yard in the front and back of the property. This area offers the right amount of privacy with a nice back patio to enjoy the spectacular lake views and stunning sunsets. There is plenty of outdoor seating along with a charcoal grill for some evening BBQs. Other characteristics include a new dock with a ladder and platform that has some seating. There are also some aluminum steps from the shore down into the water. Enjoy the evening by the campfire down by the shore that has chairs surrounding it. Other features are a hammock, 2 kayaks and a paddle board all for your enjoyment. The house comes equipped with A/C and wi-fi that can connect to your streaming services. The boat launch is nearby along with Hoppies Tavern.

This house is a great location for our visit to Burt Lake. Our main comment is the old mattresses, pillows and bedding. The house needs a total refresh in that department! Also, the lighting in the house is inadequate. We stayed here last summer too. Because of the location, we booked it again. It’s a sweet little cottage, but needs attention.

Burt Lake Getaway

The cottage is very charming. Loved the character. Although beautiful, the wood counters in the kitchen are not a practical choice with trying to keep them dry. Future renters should be aware they will need to bring all condiments needed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely and Perfect!

This Burt Lake cottage was absolutely perfect! Spacious for a small family. A modern, cottage-style kitchen complimented the rest of the home. Keeping the feel of a homey, quintessential cottage was exactly what we wanted. The kitchen was stocked and property management was engaged throughout our stay. Looking forward to our next opportunity to rent this property again.
