Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!

The proprietor, Ed, took pride in the establishment. There was time taken and attention to detail in the room, as well as the outside of the Inn, being decorated for Christmas. The room was clean and very accommodating. The Inn was in walking distance to dining, shops, and the train depot. I would definitely stay at Calhoun Inn & Suites again and highly recommend it to those travelling to that area, or for those looking for a weekend get-a-way.

Lovely

Sadly we were only there for 1 night. We wish our trip was for a couple so we could have enjoyed more of Bryson City and the Calhoun’s hotel. So very quaint! Lovely big porch with rocking chairs. The morning we checked out it was raining. So we sat on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the rain.
