New, immaculately well kept and operated. This was one of nearly a half dozen properties that I stayed at throughout Sicily, and it is beautiful. I was upgraded for a small charge to the Superior Room which has direct access to the back yard and is slightly larger than the standard room. The owners are hard working and look after every need. The breakfasts were a wonderful selection of Sicilian fare and their olive oil is superb. I actually didn't want to leave and will for sure plan to stay there again. Note that it is in the country and you will have to drive to dinner, shopping, etc., but that is part of the appeal. There is plenty to see in this area. The brand new pool and patio provides a great place to just relax too.

Great place to spend some time and go for the cities nearby (Chiaramonte Gulfi, Ragusa, Modica) as well as for tastings at wineries (e.g. Gulfi). The breakfast offers various and excellent food, a lot of self-made/grown products (olive oil, focaccia, yoghurt). The pool is above the rooms and offers a beautiful view, in all directions. It is being cleaned every day and invites to relax. The rooms are very clean and modern. Natalia and Pavel are great hosts, helpful and friendly.
