Room was well furnished and supplied with all the essential things. It has a balcony which I didn't use. I like the sofa and the work table. Location is fantastic, being a 3-min walk to Chiayi Station. Staff members are smiley and helpful, and ever ready to help store my luggage. This hotel was recommended by a bunch of travel bloggers and it is conveniently located just right next to Chiayi Train station. If you are planning on going to Alishan from Chiayi, this is the perfect hotel to stay at! The staff are helpful and very friendly. The reason for 4 stars though, but more like 3.85 is due to the cleanliness of th hotel. Lots of unnecessary displays that could be better organized or build a nicer retail space instead of a messy table, and you have to walk all the way to the back to get to the elevators which leads to another room that is smelly and seems like a bar but not really in use. My biggest complaint is the sheets were also smelly. It smelled like someone's body odor. Other than that, I think the convenience of the location to everything makes up for it.

Spacious room, excellent location. Do not let the ā€˜no windowā€™ description put you off booking the basic room. The room still has natural light, and you never have a hotel room that you can open the windows anyway.
