Staff & Service: The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the historic lobby is beautiful and clean. The on-site bar is cute and has a great happy hour. Location is excellent—safe, close to shops and restaurants, and with convenient off-site parking. Room Condition: Unfortunately, the room fell short. Furniture and carpet are stained and worn, with frayed edges and scuff marks. There’s a musty odor, dusty corners, and wallpaper peeling. Two lamps and the bathroom lighting don’t work, leaving the space dark and cave-like. The faucet leaks, a towel bar is broken, and the bed and couch sag noticeably. Thin walls mean we could hear neighbors through the adjoining door. Overall: While the AC worked well and staff service stood out, the room simply doesn’t match the Hilton brand or the price point. My husband is a Diamond member and we both agreed this was the most subpar Hilton room we’ve experienced. We decided to stay because of the convenient location, but I wouldn’t recommend this property unless significant updates are made. We had a great stay! East walk to CTA lines, lots of dining and shopping. The restaurant in the hotel was really good. Staff were fantastic. We will definitely use this hotel again for future visits to Chicago.

The room was nice, but the housekeeping wasn't very good. The floor was dirty from the previous guests until about 5 days into our 6 day stay. One day they left one wash cloth for the room for two people. We had to ask for the body wash to be refilled. On top of that I could've link my Hilton honors account to the room and when I asked about it, they just gave me a promo code
