Our stay at Arlo was perfect for our girls trip getaway. The hotel is conveniently located right across from Millennium Park & all the Chicago must do’s, we never needed a car to get anywhere we went. The bar/restaurant was an excellent addition for late night drinks & snacks. Our room was clean & housekeeping was exceptional.

This is a really nice hotel. The location is terrific, right on Michigan Avenue across from Millennium Park and near the Art Institute and Riverwalk, surrounded by restaurants and stores, and with easy access to every part of the L system. The bed is comfortable and the room, although small, is nicely designed, with drawers and a safe tucked below the bed, along with a modern bathroom with very pleasant high pressure shower. The staff is also great, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Based on the other reviews and comments, I think it's worth springing for the upper floors, where there's a gorgeous view north towards the Wrigley Building ahd John Hancock Tower and south over the lake and Millennium Park. The small room feels considerably larger and more commanding with that view; I had to work for an hour or two one afternoon, and that made the room far more relaxed. The only mild suggestion I'd have is that because the room is small, considering removing the minibar fridge, which is awkwardly placed, and replacing that space with a slightly larger nightstand that can accommodate a CPAP, book, phone, and charger would be helpful. But overall this is a really pleasant hotel and a great place to stay in the city.

This small and cozy Hotel is a perfect location for short stay in Chicago. Locate and a beautiful are and walk distance to everything Down town. It’s noise outside at night, but is normal on big cities as we know.
