Overall it was good. I was told I had a king bed but it was a queen. The noise around 2am everyday was a bit much in the hallways. The staff was courteous and attentive .

The stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Waukegan was great it was closed to the Navy base and everything was closed by. The hotel was decent nothing to fancy but, very clean the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was as expected a continental breakfast nothing fancy a muffin, coffee, tea, juice, and yogurt.

Conveniently located near Great Lakes Naval Station for my son’s PIR last 4/3/25. Key is to travel light as the inn has no lifts.

Overall this is a decent place to stay for a limited time. I came for a navy graduation and stayed the weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that my room was adjoining and I could hear EVERYTHING from the room next door. They were arguing all night and it was very loud. Thankfully they left the next day. Other than that it’s a decent property.
