Great Gathering Place for Cousins

Our mothers were McEwens - raised on a dairy farm in PA, and we came to Chicago to celebrate their Scottish Heritage. The Chicago Scots were honoring clan MacEwen this year at their Scottish Games. We came from all across the USA to represent our mothers. This home was the perfect place to stay together. It is large, clean, and beautifully appointed. It is an ideal place for a gathering: it has everything that is stated in the description. We found it to be very comfortable, like the bedding and sitting area. Be aware that it is a split level home, but most of the bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open kitchen, dining room, and sitting room, are all on one main level. Sadly we did not get to use the beautiful back yard due to rain and being so busy at the games. The game room in the basement would have been perfect for younger relatives (our average age is 70), alas, they could not join us for this. This beautiful home was close to everything we did this weekend. The owner was informative, and helpful whenever I reached out to her. We would stay here again.

Daughter's College Graduation

The house was great for my whole family (10) so that we could be together for my Daughter's graduation from Aurora University. And the place was large enough so that we could host our extended family for dinner. It was nice to have our "own" place

Treetop Garden

House was beautiful and well appointed. Beds all very comfy. 3 bathrooms was wonderful! LOVED having a fire pit and back yard and the weather to enjoy it. I will say that using the TV was not friendly, but we really didn't need or try to watch it much. Mostly to see the forecast or catch the news. Our host was easily accessible and prompt with any responses. Highly recommend!! the news.

We had a blast. We were in town for a cheer competition and had 4 adults and 4 kids. We had plenty of space. Everything was clean. We even went for a walk and there is a cute little neighborhood park down the street. Lots to do around the area. I would recommend to anyone coming to the area looking for a place to stay!

Perfect home for a girls trip!

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home for our girls' trip! The house comfortably accommodated all six of us, and we were all happy with our rooms. Each room had its own unique charm, was spotless, and had super comfortable beds. The living and dining rooms were perfect for hanging out. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking essentials. There’s a grocery store a few minutes away so we saved money cooking at home.10/10 would stay again!!!

This was a wedding weekend for our large family! Big wedding. This house was close to everything we needed including grocery, church, other venues. Fantastic Home in a Quiet Neighborhood

This home is a fantastic find for a group. Tucked away in a quiet suburb with easy access to all parts of the city, we would highly recommend the property. It is even roomier that the photos show with plenty of space to spread out. Communication with the owner was quick and complete and made our stay easy. My family stayed here for our annual trip to Chicago and the property was a great home base with grocery and other stores just a few minutes away. Great Stay. Thanks!

Quick multi-family trip

This was a quick trip for us to hang out with another family with teenagers/college student age kids. The home was in a nice, safe area that provided a big yard and plenty of good restaurants in the area. We enjoyed being able to have plenty of room in the home to eat and play games together, while still spreading out to sleep. The surprise of the trip was the "Billy Graham Museum" over at Wheaton College about 10 minutes from the home. It was very well done and completely enjoyable!

Excellent property and host

Our mission team of 8 stayed here. The host was very helpful and very responsive. One of our team did comment she wished there were dish towels on site for use with pots and pans instead of always using dishwasher. One of the doors did have a tricky lock, but the overall stay and experience was excellent.
