Farmhouse-Inspired Retreat / Pool + BBQ

Relax in our farmhouse-style townhome! Tastefully decorated so rustic meets chic, with comfort in mind! We are located right next to the community pool, which you have full access to and is hardly ever busy. For our grill masters, kick back in our fenced-in backyard and prepare a meal on our BBQ. Enjoy a stroll through the neighborhood, or check out Downtown Chico (approx. a 5 minute drive)!

We love our home and welcome you to come enjoy it during your next visit to Chico!

You will have the entire townhome to yourself. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom with a king-size bed, one with a queen-size bed, and one with two twin-size beds. Plenty of room for the whole group!

*10 minute drive to Chico State
*5 minute drive to Chico Marketplace
*5 minute drive to both Target and Walmart

Centrally located and conveniently minutes away from just about anything you could need! (As Chico locals, we are more than happy to make recommendations if you`re looking for a place to eat or an activity to do.)

Please drive respectfully and carefully within the complex to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents.

Since we do also have a cleaning fee, we have a no-stress check-out procedure. That means as long as the home isn`t left in poor condition, you can enjoy a nice warm cup of coffee in the morning before you leave!

We take great care in maintaining our grounds, and we`re proud to have a dedicated gardener. Currently, he doesn`t follow a fixed schedule but tends to the garden whenever he believes it`s time for some care. Thank you for understanding and appreciating our green spaces!

Please note, all guests are required to sign a rental agreement prior to check-in. For non-Airbnb bookings, a credit card hold is required as a deposit, which will be automatically released after your stay, provided no damages occur.

Early check-ins before 4 PM require host approval. A confirmed booking does not guarantee early access — please message us to request and check availability.

Your reservation fee card statement will not show VRBO but angiesstays a.k.a. us. The only fee that is charged by VRBO is the VRBO service fee. The reservation fee is charged directly by us.

Parking Details:
Each reservation includes 3 parking spots:

- For cancellations, refund amount will only be 96%, there will be a cancellation fee of 4% of the total reservation amount.

House needed quite a bit of maintenance. They were doing some kind of repairs in the upstairs bathroom and left paint and gloves on the counter. Kitchen furniture in need of repair. Rug in living room has curled edges. Tripping hazard. Overall our stay was good. No major problems. I’d just remove the rug in the living room.

Door Pad Issues

We arrived after midnight, and the door lock mechnism would not let us in to the VRBO. We tried for 20 minutes. It would make a lot of noises, but never let us in. We had to get two motel rooms that night. The next day I contacted the owner. They told me they woul replace the batteries. I finally heard from them around 6. It was fixed. At first, it made the same noises. Finally after playing with the handle, it opened.would replace the

Disappointment

This property was quite a disappointment. They advertised 3 parking spaces, which is not the case. We were only given the driveway and garage, which happened to be manual and created quite the inconvenience. Also, they ask for you to take your shoes off while indoors. Quite confusing as the home itself is quite dirty and unkept. The carpets are stained throughout the house, not just high traffic areas. And the linoleum in the kitchen leaves your feet black. There are cobwebs and dust on every surface. It honestly felt as though it hasn’t been touched or cleaned in months. There were holes in bedroom doors and the shower walls. The closet doors and pocket door were off their tracks. Needless to say this house needs some major TLC. The only highlight is the pool is right next door. We ended up leaving a day early from our trip.
