We only stayed for a brief overnight on our way south, but this is a lovely traditional style motel with a nice pool, restaurant across the road for breakfast and lunch, and on the river in this little fishing town. Our room was spacious with a sitting room with sofa, TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker; a bathroom and a nice bedroom. As we were arriving a little late the office called us with instructions how to access our room. Will happily stay again!

Perfect stay for scallop trip

Was great, came in town to scallop, arrived late, chilled by the pool..breakfast was available across the street. Opens early which was great. Room was clean and perfect for the three of us.

Out of towners is not so welcome.

The town is nice. The people in the town are nice the hotel not so much. It is overpriced. They are not friendly, things come up missing and they gossip about customers to other customers.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this little motel. The woman who checked us in (I think the owner) was so sweet and welcoming. What a fun little town Steinhatchee is! I’m so sorry about the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and hope everyone is safe!

We were arriving later at night and the front desk hostess called us to let us know she’d, literally, leave the lights on for us in the room and a lock box at our door for our convenience. She told us to drive safely and made sure we didn’t need anything else. So much kindness in the short time we were here, would really love to come back and stay longer.
