Lovely golf view room with large terrace. Large bathroom which was very clean. Ample safe parking. Comfy beds. Nice bar area. Staff were lovely, Breakfast - I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re wanting a full English - garlic mushrooms (for breakfast?? Yuk), streaky bacon which was slimey and undercooked, greasy sausages and just scrambled eggs (no fried). Overall I’d recommend the hotel but not the breakfast

Staff had no idea we were coming as fate was changed, "upgraded" to suite which was nice but up three flights og stairs. Cold room dispite follow heating instructions. Bed to soft and door banging all night resulted in sleepless night. Checked out next morning as didn't want to loss any more sleep. If your older and are golf mad go for it!

The welcoming staff were amazing and the place is incredible. The dining area was good but could be better. The menu is limited and the service is not very friendly including the greeting at the entry point. Breakfast was self service and the selection was reasonable, however the replenishment was slow and infrequent. There were quite a few guests walking around looking for cutlery and also waiting for fresh food to come out. Not the best experience for dining but the stay was relaxing and amazing, well worth the money.

beautiful grounds, we were on a golfing holiday and the course was in god shape, shame about the weather but facilities at the hotel were great. We couldn't find somewhere to have a light bite after the golf but that could have been us!

A great stay & we will visit again

A lovely friendly welcome with an upgrade to a studio. The room was large, very clean with lovely views. A restful stay, the only negative was the bed was a little too soft for what we are used to. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and breakfast was great and offered plenty of choice. We will return again in the future.

This is a large facility with a golf course, Spa, restaurant and bar. There is a large parking lot so parking is easy. The hotel itself is very plain. The rooms were large with functional furniture. If you are looking for a charming place in the Cotswalds this isn’t it, but it was fine for a few days especially if you are travelling around the Cotswalds. Chippen Norton is a cute town about 4 miles away, Blenheim Palace is about 10 miles away and Oxford is about a 40 minute drive. The restaurant was very basic - about the same as pub food for the most part. Breakfast was a buffet.

Our ‘double’ bed was actually to single beds pushed together. Not exceptionally comfortable and the pillows were awful. One very hard and one thin and soft. No extras to even swap them out for. Struggled to sleep and woke up with a bad neck. However the property itself was clean, and the staff friendly.
