I did not expect this was to be good hotel until I starting my first night there. Room is average size and very clean. What surprise me is, they have FREE laundry and dryer with Detergent INCLUDED. You can wash as many as you need. And every day from 9 pm to 10 pm, FREE supper such as chineses congee, dessert, simple fried noodle and they are simple small buffet. I never found hotel has such great facility like this 10/10

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and absolutely loved it. The location is excellent — it’s very close to Jiefangbei and the rail transit station, which made it extremely convenient to explore all the attractions in Chongqing. The breakfast is a must have. It offers a wide variety of both Western and Asian options, and the noodles were especially delicious. I would also like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff. The manager Jelly, who is incredibly helpful and passionate about her work. She speaks very good English and was always willing to assist with any questions I had. The front desk team — Cady, Yoyo, and Tia — were also very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay.

Pro: - staff was nice - central location and walkable to all the key sites - affordable for a decent room Con: - this hotel shares with 10 other "boutique" hotels. Very busy lobby and waiting for elevators takes forever - shower floods and doesn't drain properly - smelled smokey during my stay For the price, it's decent for the location and for a "4 star" hotel. However, there's other hotels at a similar price point and has their own lobby and not sharing with 10 other boutiques.

I stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was really clean, and having free washing and drying available was a huge plus. The staff were incredible—big thanks to Jamie, Yoyo, Lyn, and Tia for being so helpful. When I lost my hotel card, they replaced it immediately. I also requested a room change in the middle of the night, and they handled it seamlessly without me needing to go to the front desk; they even sent the new keys to my door using a cute robot! Highly recommended for the service and convenience.

Great hotel set in centre of Chongqing. Easy walk to the square and shopping areas, easy drive via DiDi to waterfront and other visitor spots. Rooms are spacious with good bathroom size. Very well stocked amenities, slippers and bathrobes. SSAW also is very unique in providing free footbath in your room (on order), free self washing and drying on level 21 and tea service. A great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Only comment would be to provide better information to guests prior to arrival about the location of the SSAW hotel as it is based in big building which hosts other hotels in other floors.

The hotel area was great and very central, you can walk to most of the key attractions/landmarks, tour buses also picks up most people from this area, the staff are nice and tried their best to translate and help out whenever they can.
