I liked its location. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable, but they have a desk in there. And no chair. And the bathroom door is really squeaky. It needs some oil on the hinges. And when you walk into the room, there's a lamp to your right that hangs over the couch.But it doesn't work

8th and last, sad tohave to change our yearly stay

Surfaces all had a film, greasy texture. Including bedding and floors. Bugs crawling, dead bugs on the floor. Had a strong smell-remnant of a bug bomb or spray, which could have been the filmy greasy stuff on everything. All towel racks, hangers were laying on the floor. Toilet was moldy. One towel in the room. Lobby/dining area was the cleanest of the whole building even though they don’t serve breakfast. We’ve stayed there about 8-10 times. 1st time with a bad experience.

Overall great place to stay minus ongoing renovations, and minor bugs. Has high potential to be a great place. Very disappointed that I was charged a deposit fee of $70-$75 dollars and still haven't received it back. Was told it would appear 5-10 business days from my stay, and still nothing.

Hotel is at the end of a very LONG road. Parking is VERY limited- be prepared to park in the back and walk around to the front (u can not enter from any other door). It feels very sketchy I chose this hotel, because of the free breakfast & buffet listed - THERE IS NO BREAKFAST! NONE, NOTHING- not even dry cereal. They looked at me like i was crazy for asking. While down there asking about breakfast- there was a very unhappy gentlemen, who had COCKROACHES running around his room and he was at the desk complaining?!?- The lady stated and i quote "IT'S NO BIG DEAL- I HAVE THEM IN MY ROOM TOO" .. After this we noticed that there was cockroach bait stations all over our room. We had a room with 2 queens and a couch, one of my children slept on the couch- that child and another woke up with bites all over them- Now I never seen a bedbug- BUT they didnt go to bed with bites. There was hair all over the bathroom and a used dirty towl hanging on the bathroom door. The beds have a pillow top.. extremely soft.. no support.. felt like a cloud going to sleep, but my body hated it the next morning. There was 2 TVs in our room- 1 didnt work The ONLY positive of this stay is it was 8 minutes from Kings Island and once you are inside the hotel you are pretty safe, your car might get broke into, but no one is getting in the backdoor of the hotel.

Stay away from this place

When we first checked in, the lady at the front desk left for a few minutes while we were checking in and radioed to her coworker and they were talking. We weren’t given our keys until she returned. When we got into the room, it smelled heavily of cleaner or sprays and air freshener. We didn’t really think too much of it until the next morning. My step dad informed us he saw 4 roaches in the bathroom at night. We then started seeing them coming out of the microwave, behind light fixtures, behind the pictures. We killed a couple and took them down to the front desk. The lady admitted they knew they were infested.

Unacceptable being an understatement. I selected to pay at hotel. They tried to charge me anyhow. There wasn’t sufficient funds on the card I had it on the when they tried to charge me. So, I kept trying to call the hotel to confirm I had a place to stay on my trip. No one would answer. 7 calls and no answer. Yet, my hotel showed booked still. So, we showed up that night and she said my room was canceled. The app still showed I had a room and I received emails asking me to give a review for my stay. Well, here it is. The woman at the desk would not honor the price I had booked for the hotel despite explaining what had happened and the confusion. I was traveling with someone and their room was also cancelled. The woman at the desk told him that his credit card was declined. Both of us were met with zero concern for our situation and what happened. She just stated to us that we could book a room for $40 more than what we had booked it for. We ended up leaving and taking our business elsewhere. The fact that no one answers the phone and they won’t make things right when there is an error on their end is unacceptable and raised red flags. It is particularly obvious that this issue is with the hotel and probably a standard practice due to the fact that both rooms were booked through different booking apps. I would highly consider rethinking this partnership.
