Hotel is excellent as are the rooms, the lift is small and finicky, don't move around too much in the lift as it just stops. There is nothing outside the hotel, no shops, transport nothing. The hotel offers a shuttle to and from the airport where you can take a train or bus to the city. Hotel is very quiet, bed is comfortable, there is a spa in the rooms but it needs to be booked 1 day before arrival and costs extra.

We stayed at this property the third week of October in 2025 and as a result, we can report a very favorable experience. The property is clean and very recently updated. The rooms are very spacious and nicely appointed. The owners even cooked dinner for us that night and we really appreciate it because we were exhausted. So if you want a convenient place to stay close to the airport, this establishment is for you.

The staff person was incredibly rude. We arrived around 7pm, and were treated like we had inconvenienced them. We were utterly polite and we got nothing but terse responses, eye rolls, heavy sighs and disapproving looks. I complimented their elevator and she rolled her eyes. They don’t give you a remote control for the air conditioning. She set the temperature and confirmed with us the current temperature was acceptable and proceeded to leave the room with it. The pool is freezing cold. The in-room hot tub requires a days’ notice to use it…what is the point of that? They emphasized in a barking manner that you may not bring ANY plastic garbage into the room. They charged me a €2 tax that they claimed they could only accept cash for - I had to go to an ATM to get them €2. We ordered their shuttle to take us to the airport at 3:00am (guess how well that was received?) and they started incessantly calling us at 2:58. By far the worst, least friendly accommodation experience we had in Sicily.

This motel near the airport was incredibly NOISY. It was impossible to sleep, between the planes and the guests who gave up and left at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. There are no restaurants, or anything else nearby. Dinner was lasagna and ice cream, no veggies, no salad. It costs a lot to get here by cab from Palermo. We would have been better off staying in Palermo and using a transport service with a confirmed arrival time at our hotel to get us to the airport on the last day of our trip.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My family and I had an awful experience at Villa Rosa dei Venti, and I feel compelled to warn others before they book. First, the service was shockingly rude from the moment we arrived. We showed up a bit early just to check in or at least drop off our bags not an unreasonable request, especially since we had my 85-year-old grandfather with us, who has medical needs and mobility issues. Instead of any kind of understanding or assistance, we were kicked out and told to leave the property entirely. They wouldn’t even let us wait in the lobby. We were forced to go to the airport to sit and wait for over an hour, with no help, nothing. When we were finally allowed to check in, things went from bad to worse. The general condition of the place did not match the pictures online. Dust, grime, mold, and a feeling of general neglect everywhere. To top it off, no one helped my elderly grandfather with his luggage we had to carry everything ourselves, while the staff stood by and watched. Their attitude was dismissive at best, and downright heartless at worst. In short: No professionalism, no kindness, and no sense of what hospitality means. This place is a disgrace to the concept of a bed and breakfast. Do yourself a favour and stay away!

I booked my stay last minute due to flight issues and had a lovely night. The hotel was clean, well appointed and close to the airport. The staff was very friendly, picked me up and dropped me back off at the airport, and even provided breakfast earlier than normal to ensure I had something to eat before my continued travels. Highly recommend!

The property looked nice! I booked this place because of the pool so my kids could enjoy sometime while we waited for our flight to go back home. However the person in charged yield at my kids for playing at the pool. They were not diving just jumping inside the pool while playing with a ball. The pool also had the cleaning vacuum inside the pool by the time we used the pool around 4 pm. They did not allow us to come earlier than 3:30 because they were still cleaning and clearly they were not done by 4 pm. Very inconvenience for a family that has just a day in tbe city closer to the airport.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was wonderful. We really appreciated the communication with helping us for our arrival which was late at night and assistance in getting us the service we needed upon check out for our continued trip. I would recommend this hotel as a stay if you are looking for some quiet time to relax. The pool was also kept very clean.

Very friendly welcome, very accommodating. Absolutely gorgeous pool, which was exactly what I needed after a long day of travelling. Breakfast had gluten-free options for my friend. The only thing I would recommend is adding a portable or ceiling fan to the room as the AC wasn’t very powerful and it was hot.

High quality accommodation near PMO airport

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, everything seemed & felt new. Breakfast was good. Property is 10 minutes by car from the airport in a quiet, rather isolated area. You can hear planes take off and land, but they do not fly overhead. If you have a late arriving flight into PMO (or an early departure from PMO), this is an excellent choice.
