Old casale in a huge country side in peace and relax, between Umbria and Tuscany

- Welcome to "La Foresteria", an ancient "casale " of a huge estate, 310 hectares of nature between 450 and at 600 meters above sea level.
This is the first house arriving from Tuscany; ideal for people who want to relax and day dream in an area surrounded by trees, listen to the evening sounds of the woods and admire the stars.
The mount, between two valleys, has an ideal microclimate, with a light breeze that cools the air during the day, a strong temperature range that brings the temperature at night to 20 and 23 ° C, 68 -73F in summer.
Winter is mild because it is never foggy 3-5 degrees above the temperature of the valley.

Foresteria has its own heated swimming pool, ping-pong and soccer table. The two floors house is large, comfortable and welcoming with large walls from 40 to 60 cm.
4 independent entrances from the staircase, from the terrace and from the private garden. On the first floor 4 large bedrooms: two double and two double bedrooms with two bathrooms two living rooms, 2 kitchens, fireplace, one large sitting area in front of the fireplace, one with the television, A main door leads to the beautiful terrace where to take the sun and enjoy the view of the stars. On the ground floor two independent entrances on two living rooms ( one with a double sofa bed), two doubles and two twins with two bathrooms with shower and two kitchens.
On the terrace: wooden table, benches, chairs, sun loungers, barbecue. The same in the garden at the ground floor divided in three different areas..

At night, do not miss the spectacle of the dark sky full of stars; often is possible to see the ISS or the STAR LINK TRAIN with the naked eye.

Within the estate we have many species of wild animals (which I try to protect in every way): foxes, roe deer, hedgehogs, porcupines, wild boars, hares, squirrels and fireflies in June, July. Falcons, Robin, jay, hoopoe, green peak, bee-eaters and other birds are regular visitors. Pheasants and partridges are often released here.

Spring is the flower season and lasts until autumn with violets, wildflowers, sunflowers and cyclamens. From the end of September until the beginning of November many species of mushrooms can be found.

For a unique experience join us on the last weekend of October for the olive harvest.
