It has a newly remodeled modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a large king bed suite in the loft, 1 queen bed in the main floor bedroom, and bunk beds in the kid's room. Great cabin to relax in, sleeps six comfortably. A private front porch overlooking the river is a great place to watch a sunset, morning sunrise, or stargaze. A Colorado gem. Come and relax. Let the tension melt away.

Closest pet-friendly place we found near Steamboat

We chose this place, Glen Eden, about three weeks before a long weekend ski trip to Steamboat. We needed pet-friendly, and this was the closest/least expensive option for our group of five two dogs.After a four-hour delay on I-70, we got to Glen Eden at about 1:30 am and had some trouble finding the cabin -- the map supplied does not show roads and it was hard to see the cabin names at night.The cabin, Columbine, was right next to the Elk River (covered by snow) and has a beautiful view to the northwest. The cabin was clean and everything in the kitchen and bathrooms worked well. The wifi was fast and reliable. We all found the beds comfortable and with plenty of blankets and pillows. The cabin was heated by electric baseboards, and they responded well to thermostat adjustments.The hot tub was located near the Glen Eden lodge, a short walk away -- for some reason, I thought it was a hot tub at the cabin. We were able to get in the tub when we wanted, but because it holds no more than eight, there could be a wait.Overall, nice place -- would come here again despite the 35-40 minute drive to the mountain for skiing. Would be nice in the summer.
