Great location

We spent a week here. At first there was a problem with the a/c, but the staff changed our rooms so that was fine. The hotel offers breakfast but has no bar or restaurant, and no kettle/coffee-maker or fridge in the room. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, but the desk is mot manned 24 hours. Location is great---just off Place Jaude and very close to many eating places.

Easy access to the shops bars and restaurants, room was adequate but not sufficient hot water for two showers, there was no holder for shower head. Toilet tank kept on running non stop , the man at reception was extremely rude this morning, he should learn about other customers manners which are not rude but he perceives them as rude in his country of origin ( tapping on the desk to gain someone’s attention to check out, he was away in his little room and obviously interrupted him), the way he turned on us was Not acceptable, we were willing to come back to this hotel until check out time!

Located at 100 steps from La Grande Place. A fantastic restaurant next door to the left, and 2 other fantastic restaurants 2 doors to the right. The image on the Web page may make it look like it is a play pen for children. But don't let it fool you. It is certainly a kid friendly place. But it is definitely also an adult place. 100 steps from the Tramways to runs throughout the city.

I love the location of this hotel. So close to so many restaurants and the city center. It's modestly priced and is excellent in price-quality relationship. I stayed here a year ago as I was driving through from Luzern to Bilbao, and I chose to return, so there you go!

My stay at Dav'hotel Jaude(Dec 6 to Dec 09)

My stay was good. Staff were very Professional and evironment clean. The heater in my was not working well but when i reported to the Lady at the front desk, she immediately brought a moveable one and plugged it rightaway in my room. I thought it an Execellent Customer Service act. Security at the premises was okay. I'll surely stay at the same place thevnext time I visit and recommend to others as well. Thanks Isaac Owusu

Excellent location with friendly welcome.

Excellent city centre location in area with plenty of restaurants and bars. Very friendly welcome by owner and copious French breakfast. Rooms recently refurbished just bathroom still to be done. Would definitely return.

They kept their promises!

I think some people misinterpret 2 star, assuming it means problems of cleanliness, condition or comfort. When I am essentially looking for a base and I know I will not be working, entertaining or "escaping" in my room, then a two star with a dynamite location can be quite attractive. My Citotel Dav room was surprisingly large - especially the bathroom - comfortable and clean. Add to that 4 great restaurants and the city centre one and a half minutes away and you have what I call a bargain. The staff, including the owner, were all friendly and helpful. I don't think I would book here for a romantic weekend but when I come back to C-F to visit friends or go trekking, i wouldn't hesitate to return.

Very nice well placed hotel

Myself an 4 friends each enjoyed a very good stay at the Dav’hotel. The rooms had excellent large comfortable beds and was perfectly placed for us to visit the centre of Clermont. The lady who ran the hotel was very pleasant and very helpful. If we were to go to clermont again we would definitely stay.
