Went down for breakfast at 9:15 and there was nothing left to eat. No breads, no milk for cereals, no oatmeal, no eggs, no fruit, no yogurt. Pathetic ! We were so disappointed ! Breakfast is served til 10am. If you know how many guests you have then plan food accordingly. Bed very uncomfortable. This is unacceptable !

One nice aspect of this hotel is that Crocker Park Mall is only a few blocks away. The mall has ample dining and shopping options. Our room seemed to have been recently renovated and was extremely clean. The hotel is tucked away, so it is quiet and has lots of parking. The only complaint was the breakfast (that was included in the price of the stay), as they had run out of a number of items such as milk. That said, I would be happy to stay here again.

I liked everything about the Westlake, OH Hampton Inn with one exception. We basically had the same breakfast Saturday morning andSunday morning with the exception of different flavored waffles which were good. However, the round eggs two days in a row were a disappointment. I really would have liked a change in the eggs - perhaps scrambled eggs one of the two days.

Maintenance is seriously needed for this hotel.

Pillows were a joke, tiny thin ridiculous pillows. When asking the front desk for an extra pillow, they said they did not have any. Back security door was broken, anyone could access. Door made a terrible scraping sound when opening. TV kept going in and out and saying no signal. Entry way light in the room would strobe when turning on so you could not use unless you could stand the strobing. Milk container at the breakfast bar was always empty. Picture of the beach used as advertising was 10 miles away. This hotel needs some serious maintenance.

The first room we were given had a strong smell lime dog or cat urine. The front desk person told us she had one room left she could switch us to, which she did. While the second room did not smell it was far from good. The comforter had a stain that looked like blood on it, the carpet was old and worn, the paint was peeling in the bathroom, and generally the room was in need of updating or at least refreshing. I have stayed in various Hampton Inns and have always been very satisfied. I was very disappointed.

Great place to stay when visiting Cleveland. Easy to get in and out. Safe place with some basic food options around. The only complaint was a loud window AC unit. Otherwise it was great.

Room Fiasco

We arrived and had to wait 10 minutes for the front desk person to come back from checking rooms, we got our room and it was the room right off the lobby, this should not be a room. We could hear everything happening in the lobby. We went back to the desk and thankfully said they had another available, great! We got our new room key and when we opened the door, it was clear there was someone staying in that room, not great. Went back to the desk, repeated the process. One of the workers went to go check rooms. When he came back he gave me a new room. That he just checked. (????) There were people in that room as well. Go back to the desk, the worker went to check another room, that one was empty. Finally in our room, we go to turn down the temperature and the thermostat dies. We watch a little TV, the signal cuts out every few minutes and then the channel is lost. We turn the lights off and notice that the room darkening curtains let in huge gaps of light on either side. I slept with a T-shirt covering my eyes so it would be dark. The bed is ok, but there is a huge sag in the middle. The sheets are soft.
