The home itself was aesthetically very nice and well-decorated, and the layout worked well for our stay. I truly wanted to give this property a great review because, aside from a few issues, it would have been perfect.Unfortunately, when we arrived there was a noticeable odor of marijuana inside the home, suggesting previous renters had smoked. For a property that charges a 150 cleaning fee, I would expect no lingering odors and a thoroughly fresh space. We also found empty water bottles and trash under one of the beds, which made it seem like the cleaning was not thorough.Another concern was the snow and ice covering the walkways to and from the home. Porch was a sheet of ice. They were difficult and unsafe to navigate. We contacted the owner immediately upon arrival and were told someone would come clear the walkways, but no one ever did. There was also no offer to compensate us for the inconvenience or safety issue.The house itself has great potential, but better attention to cleanliness and follow-through on maintenance would make a big difference for future guests.
