Before checking in, we passed by the Victorian Inn from the highway at night. Our first impression of the beautiful "house" all lit up in lights was in a word 'enchanting'. We arrived late and rang the bell. The lobby was tastefully decorated and particularly inviting. Nick, the night clerk, came out rubbing his eyes and yawning. He promptly checked our credentials and issued room keys. EVERYONE at the property was friendly and professional. Heather and crew took pride in their jobs making sure everything was clean and satisfied every request. After the two nights stay, we decided we needed to book another night. Soooo glad we did , as Nick was gracious and kind enough to upgrade us to the honeymoon suite! Shocked and pleasantly surprised at his over the top gesture. We were mind blown when we entered the suite which had only been occupied by four other renters. LED lights in blue set the mood. New carpet, fireplace, snacks, new bedding, matching towel set and shower curtain in the bathroom all made this stay extra special. It truly felt like we were staying with family. Shout out to you Nick. As we marveled at the unique fixtures, he described in detail how he had personally repurposed an old item to make them. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK! This place and the good folks working here is AWESOME! Thanks again Nick for the hospitality, sense of humor, and the restful nights sleep. We have travelled North and South America, and Europe and this stay is in the top 5!

The room was filthy with layers of dust on everything and it looked like it had not been vacuumed in weeks. The toilet and tub were both filthy with dried urine and hairs. I was in a bind so I went and bought my own cleaning supplies to make it work. I will definitely not be staying here in the future.

Roaches everywhere, urine everywhere, room smelled of feces, ac unit didnt work in the first room and the second room it was just sitting in a hole in the wall. Lights were flickering, stains on all of the furniture. When i brought this stuff up to the owner he said "thats impossible, all of that room was remodeled." Evidently not, this was the worst place ive ever been to. We couldnt even stay as he was unable to provide a habitable room. We were in and out in about 5 minutes.

Really dated and rundown. Office smelled terrible from cigarette smoke. TV didn’t work and bathroom was bad. Stayed 1 night and then there was an evacuation due to 130 wildfires in the area. Manager said no refunds act of god. We moved to anther hotel out of evacuation zone

The area was fairly quiet but also was not close to many businesses. The staff were not all that friendly. The wifi was mediocre at best and when the staff was asked about it I was given a response of "I should just get rid of it altogether". There was no desk in the room despite the listing clearly indicating that there was and when I asked about that I was told "we removed all the desks". The lack of desk and mediocre wifi made the small amount of remote work I needed to do while on this weekend getaway very difficult. Over-all, I feel the room was overpriced given the condition of the property, lack of a desk and crappy wifi internet. The only saving grace at all was the quiet area do to being slighly out of town.

Hotel was located well for my needs. Room could use some updating. Bed was comfortable. Heater not working well and could not take shower in morning because water would not flow to shower head. The manager was friendly. And it’s located right next to a wonderful restaurant. Home cooking.

Property itself was fine, had no complaints initially. The big issues were that there were bed bugs, guy at the front desk is grumpy and has a terrible attitude, and refused a refund for the bed bugs. I understand they have a no refund policy no exceptions, but bed bugs is a health hazard and they should’ve insisted on a refund themselves. Guy at the front desk thought it was ok to be a jerk and give me attitude even tho I was being nice, but when I gave him the same energy back he just said have a good day and waved me off.
