Enjoy Cochem

I booked the room with balcony. Good size clean room. Bathroom has being renovated. Balcony is good place to sit and enjoy wine and watch river flow by. Continental breakfast was good. Has cold cut meat, freshly baked bread, hard boiled eggs, etc. Note hotel is on the other side of Cochem town. It is 10 to 15 mins walk to Cochem proper. Also if you are coming by train, station is 15 to 20 min walk.

Not what it’s cracked up to be

The hotel is okay. The apartments, which have two bedrooms are more of an air B & B than a hotel suites. They are pretty basic, have no ac, and the floors squeak loudly. The bathrooms are cramped and the doors hit the toilet. They said on the Hotels.com listing that all of the apartments have an outdoor space, but some only have access to a yard two stories below. The pictures make the spaces look nicer than they are. The location is convenient to Cochem and the river. The provided breakfast was adequate but not great.

Cozy hotel in Cochem

Wonderful cozy hotel. Our apartment was very comfortable. The view on the river from our kitchen was outstanding. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning.

Worst ever

The hotel was closed upon arrival. Went around entire hotel knocking on doors. No answer. Had to go to different hotel. Then this hotel refused to give me a refund for the 5 days. Never recommend this hotel in my life

Fabulous little Hotel!

Loved our one night stay here! From checking in to the breakfast the next morning, the staff at the hotel were super friendly and accommodating. Our personal breakfast over looking the river was the highlight!

A perfect place!

Absolutely fabulous!! Will stay here again. Perfect two bedroom apartment with beautiful water and garden views. We felt so blessed!! Everything needed in apartment. Great location and we could walk to everything in the town. Breakfast was a nice traditional one with water views as well. The owners/family were so kind and helpful. The bathroom has soap and soap gel. Bring your own shampoo. The water temperature was perfect. Nice and hot in the shower. Truly memorable and my son already wants to return. Peter, their son ordered a taxi for us in Koblenz. Just perfect for us!

Cochem 1 natt

Trevligt bemötande vid ankomst. Varmt rum, saknas air condition men fönstren gick att ha öppna nattetid. Lyhört. Trevligt med öppen terrass för hotellgästerna även när baren/receptionen var stängd. Och man kunde köpa vin och öl från en kyl i trapphuset och ta med ut på terrassen och se när slottet lystes upp i solnedgången. Lite snålt med duschgel. Bra frukost.
