Staff was great. Maintenance was poor, our shower wall was fully cracked, bath plumbing had an issue, the water was way too hot. Property in general was old and just over all kind of dirty.

The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly, however the housekeeping was poor. The rooms were very clean but you have to ask them to come and provide clean towels. Beds were never made and we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels and shampoo. The property was a little run down, but the location was very convenient. As always, you get what you pay for.

Nice overall stay

We drove from MD to Fl and stayed 1 night her before our cruise. We got there later than expected but everything was ready to go when we got there. I requested an extra iron and board while checking in and it beat us to the room. Free continental breakfast was actually good and filling.

The front desk personnel were absolutely extraordinary. The rooms were perfect for what we were here for. The breakfast buffet area was very clean and the coffee was fresh and hot. The grounds were very well maintained and everyone was very respectful. There is also a restaurant but we had made other plans. The area seemed calm and there was plenty of parking. The only issue was housekeeping decided to bust in our room at 8:20 this morning which was unexpected and very startling. I did go to the front desk and the very kind lady at the front desk was more than apologetic. She also contacted the General Manager of the property and he was more than respectful and willing to help in anyway that he could. I worked with Marriott properties for years and this staff and general manager are top notch. The bath tub could be replaced as it is very worn and housekeeping should clean under the coffee pot area as that was a bit dirty. The pillows were a bit small but the beds were clean and very comfortable. It is a great place for the price as well. I would give the hotel 4 and a half stars (out of 5) and would most definitely recommend.
