The cabins are comfortable. But trying to figure out where to check in was difficult. And Expedia said the reservoir was walking distance from the cabins and it’s actually 5-6 miles away. I had thought we would be able to take a walk after dinner to see it and it’s too far

I wish they included dimensions in the cabin descriptions. My daughter has severe anxiety disorder and clostrophobia. We never even brought our bags in because she had a severe panic attack when we walked into the two room cabin. We had to check out about 15 minutes after check in. There was a strange smell too. Very musty and unpleasant...almost like pee but hard to explain. The ladies at the desk were so kind and understanding, which I really appreciated. They said I might receive a refund. I really hope so. We missed out on Yellowstone because of the triggered anxiety attacks. Drove 13 hours home.

I enjoyed such a warm welcome by the staff, one of whom had once visited the campus where I teach. I loved that he was connected with guests on a kind, humorous, warm level. The cabins are small and simple. No one should expect luxury—they are cabins, after all! Anyone looking for lodging where they would enjoy hanging out at length during the day might want more space. I was there for one night and appreciated the coziness and charm. Plus, the view of the setting sun over the mountains to the west could not be beat. The gift shop where the reception is also located has a lot of creative stuff, and I’m now slightly regretting that I didn’t buy anything. They had some cute earrings! But I’m a budget traveler and was focused on experiences over stuff.
