The gentleman checking us in was very friendly and personable. Our room was spacious and clean. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday but we were told of a couple local restaurants close by that were great.

Delcious food at the Dam Restaurant! The lobby is clean and spacious with beautiful river views. Great location, just short trip east/west to explore. Coeur d’Alene or Spokane, plus catch the centennial trail. Do not expect a lot from the room quality. It’s clean and they have same towels and amenities as other RedLion motels. But it is in need of serious room updates. We had 3 deadbolts on room door ( security lacking?) shower leaked everywhere in to bathroom. Zero vanity, missing closet door, old unfinished tp fixture (weird). Linens, pillows, mattress all good. Staff was nice. This was once was a top notch hotel. I sincerely hope they update it.

The toilet has the small round lid. That's okay for a woman to sit on. A man needs an oval lid, so both orifices aren't touching the seat. I wouldn't recommend this place if you like to relax while doing your business

Lobby was up to date. Took about 15 mins to be noticed by staff to check in. There is a $75 deposit per room that we were not aware of plus fees to use pool and towels etc that we were aware of. Rooms were outdated. The heater in our room kept switching off and upon inspection the outlet it was plugged into was broken and in my opinion dangerous.the chain lock onnthe door was bent so it kept popping off. There was mildew in the bathrooms and what looked to be a bad paint job over top of it.our bathroom heat light switch was broken. The mirror closet in our 2nd room had a Crack in it so we were scared to move it. The internet did not work whatsoever in either room. Our room phone also did not work and it was a walk to the front desk. Day 2 our key cards wouldnt work to even enter the building let alone our rooms. Staff however did seem friendly. We did not visit the bar/restaurant due to the cost we spent overall on 2 rooms plus deposits. Pool was nice and warm hot tub was hot but again a pretty long walk from our rooms to get to it. (I am disabled) we were in building B and the pool was in the main building and bottom floor. Will update if we can once our deposit is returned

The front desk staff were amazing. So helpful and conscientious. Super welcoming. The restaurant staff were super helpful and the food was delicious. Being displaced due to a power outage is very stressful but all the amazing staff here made it a much better day. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this as a must place to stay.
