Everything was great. The only issue was our AC unit. I called the manager who came to check on it and confirmed it wasn't working. We were moved to another room which had a good unit and we were fine.

Location is central and easy to get to. The staff is very nice and friendly, trying to help with the city attractions. The room is clean but very simple and basic. Some wall hooks and luggage holders will be appreciated . The bathroom is tiny and would be uncomfortable for someone bigger.

Rooms are tiny but clean. The shared kitchen is nice to have though we didn't cook. You must be comfortable with self check-in and texting for information. The app was slow to send through so that was a little annoying (that is, I had a quick response according to the time stamp, but the app didn't push it through for hours). Parking is free if you are willing to walk but it's probably better than driving in the medieval streets! Overall, good for a night or two.

We wan't to spend a night in Coimbra, and this spot was perfect. We were right in the middle of the old town, and there was shops and cafes handy. We were a short walk to the maid pedestrian street and had a great meal, there were many options.
