Excellent accommodation, would highly recommend. Staff very friendly and speak multiple languages. Our room was small but typical for Europe. It still slept 4 in separate rooms, plus kitchen. Everything super clean. Lobby has coffee/tea/water machine plus breakfast (if you pay extra). 3 minute walk to supermarket, 5 to shops, 20 to cathedral. Would stay again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Aparthotel Adagio Köln City. The room satisfied our needs as a family of four, and the kitchenette and large fridge/freezer were appreciated. The room was clean, and although daily room service wasn't included, fresh towels and toilet paper etc. were available upon request. There were coffee/tea amenities available, as well as toddler toys etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very warm (December) and we were able to walk to many of Cologne's amazing Christmas Markets. There is a laundry that includes a washer and dryer; make sure you put your money in after choosing your washing program (not before), otherwise it does not register and the hotel are unable to refund the money.

The apartments are very well located, only 10 minutes' walk from Heumarkt and a 5-minute walk from Poststraße U-bahn station. The apartment itself was fairly basic and a bit dusty in some areas, but comfortable and spacious enough for two people, with TVs in the living room and bedroom. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very good. The free coffee machine and cakes in the lobby were much appreciated, although a bit more coffee in the apartment would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay and I would happily book again.

The room was well equipped for a comfortable stay. There was an ironing board, iron, fridge with freezer, microwave, dishwasher etc The location is also great, overall I'm happy with my stay at Adagio.

This is truly a 3 star hotel not 4 stars. The property is a bit run-down (our apartment walls were damaged and everything was a little old and run-down). NOT clean (found hair in sink, lots of little black fuzz on our bedding. They also do not communicate with Expedia messaging. Lastly, the apartment is very tiny and the bathroom is tiny as well. It is like a nice 2-star aparthotel but definitely not 4 stars.

Good hotel with extra perks

Good hotel, a bit old, but has extra perks like a full-sized fridge, a sink and a stove. I was told by a colleague that breakfast is not worth it, but there are many cafes nearby with good breakfast options.

Proximity to the train station was good. Everything else is below average: breakfast was below basic, just very poor! It’s not worthy paying for breakfast. The room was so dirty and cramped and you feel boxed in a small hole. The hallway and lift smells damped and dirty. I am trying hard to find positives but I just can’t find any.

Staff was welcoming and did accommodate our request to be near another room, location was walkable to many major areas and also accessible by metro. Our unit had everything we needed, bed was very comfortable. Groceries right around the corner. Overall a good stay!

The man at the reception definitely could you use some social skills. Property was quite old- parking is very expensive (25 euro with no multiple entry) but it is expensive in Cologne in general. The underground parking is good but its not owned by them but they have a dedicated area assigned. If you just want to spend a day then its fine.

Checkin associates were great. Hotel areas are very warm. The room was too hot it was difficult to sleep and the AC did not work to cool it off, thankfully we got a breeze with the doors open in the evening If you want to do laundry we suggest using the laundromat across the street as the machines at the hotel are expensive and require $10 euros in $1 euro coins to wash&dry Unable to get change as the hotel was s cashless Great bonus free cold filtered water station

Great hotel!

This was a very well situated hotel in a lovely city. The hotel is very comfy and the staff were all keen to make sure we had a good time. The free tea and coffee was a nice touch. Staying in an apartment/hotel meant we could have three of us in the same place much more conveniently than if we were in two different hotel rooms.

Magnificent location. Walkable in all directions but trams buses close by if walking difficulties. Hotel very accommodating. Helpful staff. Complimentary coffee machine and water in lobby lovely touch.
