It was not so bad, sound isolations in our room was not so good, we can hear sometimes voices from another room. In our Deluxe room was refrigerator and kettle and own shower.

Not happy as I had to park my car on a public road and its supposed to be on site parking as the price it does including the parking I guess. Anyway was miss information on this booking. They said I will have a parking at the hotel car parking but for some reason they asked me to leave the car on the road as they cannot open the door for the car park.

Good for the money

There are three main advantages - price and location, walking distance from cathedral and parking. Service at reception fine, no complaints. Hotel looks like a normal building with flats, which were bought to rent them as hotel rooms. Room itself big, 3 beds, very, very comfortable. It was the best in the room. Windows curtains haven't been washed for 'some' time. Bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Bad air circulation made it stink. One could also smell cigarettes. Wifi worked well. In late evening plenty of people gathering in the corridor or room next to ours, chatting very loudly. In the morning some Turkish woman walked on the roof just below our window and stared at us - that was weird. All hotel guests we met on the corridors were Turkish - very welcoming people. Summarizing - very good price/cost ratio, I would go there again if visiting Köln next time

Trying to find the hotel was the first problem, as from the outside its hard to locate. The reception looks like an internet cafe and mobile phone shop, so that didn't help. I always pick a hotel that's walkable to attractions when travelling and that was the first attraction. I failed to read the fine print, which said shared bathroom, a big negative for me. But they did have parking available at an extra cost per night. The hallways where noisy, the walls thin but it was comfortable. I wouldn't choose the hotel again, as I am sure there are better options in Cologne. The internet stopped working after the first day and they didnt seem interested in getting it going again.

Maybe only good for 1 night

It is very close to the train station which is good. As other people have said, they give you a free drink and free wifi. The problem is that you share bathroom with everyone else, they are not there after 10 pm, so if you have to check out early, you don't know what to do, the walls are very thin, and you can hear the people next door having a good time, if you know what I mean. We stayed for 3 nights, and they never did room service. I guess if you want something that is not too expensive compared to everywhere else close to the station, and only want to stay 1 night to sleep it's ok, just hope there is no mating couple next door that won't let you sleep. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend.

So the room was big and spacious. You share a bathroom. This is not a locker room or office style bathroom but a bathroom like in a house. Makes it hard to just use the restroom as you have to share all aspects of it. The check in was simple.

Preis war nicht angemessen. Es war zu laut (Nachbarzimmmer Zähneputzen war hörbar) und zu hell (nur Gardinen, bei denen man weiter ohne Licht lesen konnte wenn zugezogen)

Unterkunft des Schreckens

Das "Hotel" ist eine absolute Notunterkunft. Es handelt sich dabei um eine umgebaute Mehr-Zimmer-Wohnung, die bereits vom Schnitt der Räume/ der teilweise niedrigen Deckenhöhe usw. nicht als Hotel taugt. Zugang erfolgt über ein privates Treppenhaus. Die Ausstattung des sehr hellhörigen Zimmers war der Wahnsinn! Das Badezimmer war regelrecht versifft, weil es offenbar handwerklich mangelhaft nachträglich eingebaut wurde und kaum gereinigt wird. Schimmel und Kalkablagerungen waren zu sehen. Handtücher wurden gestellt, nicht aber Seife oder Shampoo. Der Ausblick war direkt auf die vor dem Fenster befindliche Klimaanlage gerichtet. Die Fernbedienung des TV hatte braune Rückstände zwischen Tasten und stank nach Kot. Die Betten waren entgegen anderer Rezensionen in Ordnung. Bettwanzenbefall war nicht ersichtlich.
