Overhead exposed beams and shiplap throughout entire cottage. Lots of beautiful windows and charming doors.
Walking distance to the lake and town center. Bicycles available with request.

I enjoyed my stay at Vicki's Summer Cottage. I appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into making everything so effortless, from the minute I found and booked my stay here. I love the little things - a kcup coffee maker and creamers - to the big things - a comfortable mattress with luxurious bedding - to everything in between - a spacious shower, shampoo with a hint of rose, dark grey wash cloths and fluffy white towels. It's nice to watch the sunrise by the lake which is only a minute or two drive from the cottage. Necessities are accessible- Walgreens/CVS and Publix are only 8 minutes away. Driving into the Lake Carolina community, a little ways away, feels like you're nestled away from all your cares in the world. I wanted to stay here because I'd be in town for family caregiving, and needed a get-away and a home base. This charming, gem of a VRBO stay did not disappoint. I felt very cared for here. I easily forgot the stress of the day, the minute I pulled into the driveway. Its truly a home away from home and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend and will be back.

Great Time

This property is stunning. It is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and in a lovely location. We had a SNAFU checking in but once that was sorted, our week was fabulous. There are parks, shops, and restaurants nearby adding to the convenience of the location. One bit of information one may need to know in order to plan for your stay is that the bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs. This did not present an issue for us, but for someone else, it may.

Wonderful property. Wasn't expecting the setup to be the way it was but it turned out being an excellent stay. It was quiet and peaceful. We felt safe and Vicki was very pleasant. I'd definitely return.

However, the bedroom is on the 2nd floor but bathroom on the 1st. Also, the access to the unit is a bit awkward.
