Amanda greeted us when we arriv d and assisted me later in locating ice and an ice basin. Breakfast was nice but several tables were dirty when we came down and stayed that way while we were in the dining area. Overall we had a pleasant visit.

It’s was fine. The staff are super nice. The rooms were small. Very basic. No closet or microwave. I understand that hotels near downtown tend to be cramped and have few amenities. But Charlotte is a bigger city with hotels in this price range with more amenities. Also there are no restaurants nearby, DoorDash had a huge fee, and the snacks available to buy at the hotel will really expensive.

It would have been a 5 except the last day we had to leave very early before the 6 o'clock breakfast, and while checking out, I asked if I could grab some fruit and a bagel, and the clerk said yes. When I did the breakfast, the lady got upset and said I had to wait 15 minutes until six eventhough the stuff was sitting right in front of me. I helped myself anyway. Everything else was great!

Checking in was outstanding. The gentleman was very professional and warm. Room was ready and very clean and smelled great. Breakfast was very good. We slept well and enjoyed our room. Staff was very responsive to our questions and requests for additional towels.
