I’m not pleased with how our stay at this home went. First issue we encountered was how dirty the home was when we first walked in. It looked like someone had just left after staying there for a little. Only things that were cleaned and organized were the beds and the restrooms. The living room didn’t look how it was advertised. The arm rest of the stair way was falling apart(literally) the whole house smelled like cigarette. On top of that, the basement had a nasty, when pile of trash that look like it’s been left for weeks. This was something out of control of ownership but the neighbors next door were playing music loudly until 3am. So we had little to no sleep as we had to wake up at and be ready by 7 for our business meeting. I had notified and asked housepitality(the owner of the home) to help us with this situation but all they did was give us 50 back and to have someone sent over to “help.” None of it which helped our situation out whatsoever. We decided to stay at a hotel nearby which was helpful but unfortunate because we had to spend more money. I asked housepitality if they could refund us for the second night given our circumstance and the only thing they did was offered us 50 and a discount for our next stay at another one of there homes. I laughed and declined a near useless offer. I would carefully consider using housepitality as they don’t offer a solution to the specific problem. They bandaid the situation with there “help.”
