Overall the room was clean. The towels were clean but rough. The bed was uncomfortable and pillows small and flat. The deadbolt on door did not lock and the door could be opened. It is within walking distance of music venue but I will pay the extra and stay somewhere else next time.

It’s cheaper for a reason

Hotel needs a lot of repair and updates. Stayed as it is close to the Brown County Music Center. 3 small pillows in terrible shape for a king size bed. Burn marks on the tub and trim coming off the wall. Police were called for a disturbance in the from next to ours and we got very little sleep. I would not recommend.

This could be such a nice property. It is right beside the Brown County Music Center and in the heart of Nashville. The carpet had shreds in it. The shower was dirty. The shower curtain had black mold at the bottom. The room smelled. The gentleman that was there was very kind and helped us get to the right room. Our key would open more than one room. Luckily, the electricity was out all over the county and there was only 3 vehicles for the night at the whole place. Our door frame was majorly busted. We did have a chain, deadbolt and door lock, so no one could have came in without really making a lot of noise.

Salt creek inn is your basic motel. Nothing special just a place close to the music venue and place to shower and sleep.

Pass on this hotel

The hotel itself needs a complete overhaul. The rooms were not very clean, our toilet was clogged and there was standing water in the shower. The hotel office smelled like an ashtray.

Cold water.

It was very clean. Problem was there was no hot water. We were the only guests and perhaps they had turned water heater off. I don’t think they were expecting occupancy since it is off season for this tourist area. Had reservations but no attendant on property. Called number when we arrived and found key waiting.

It was nothing like portrayed on website. Building is in need of a lot of repairs. Holes in the walls. Curtains barely covered window. No phone No convenient plugs for charging devices. No chair to sit in. The amenities portrayed on website not available. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!!!

I'd stay again, if the price is right.

The hotel is a little outdated and could use some TLC. BUT....the beds were very comfortable with new linens and the room was fairly clean. And most importantly, the shower had great water pressure!

The property was fine for what we needed. It was conveniently located for what we were doing. A 5 minute walk to the performing srts center concert we were there to see. The beds however need to be WAY MORE COMFORTABLE.

Well, let me break it to you this way. Motel 6 has more amenities and better housekeeping. For $285 / two nights we had expected the toilet bowl to have been cleaned, an in room coffee maker or at least coffee in the lobby. Okay, so i coukd drive to the closest gas station in the rain for my coffee, but just saying. Old and antiquainted motel open 8 mos. / year. Can't recommend staying elsewhere enough.
