In the Pedestrian Center of Como (Vertical Garden Studio)

In the heart of Como’s historic center, on Via Natta, VERTICAL GARDEN STUDIO welcomes guests on the first floor of an elegant frescoed building, adorned with lush climbing plants.

The spacious open-plan layout harmoniously combines the living area—featuring a modern, fully equipped kitchen that allows you to enjoy the city without giving up the comforts of home—with the sleeping area, enhanced by a double bed with a soft velvet headboard. Warm-toned finishes, herringbone parquet flooring, and contemporary furnishings create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a comfortable stay just steps away from the city’s main attractions. Completing the apartment is an elegant bathroom with stone-effect tiles and a large walk-in shower.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

The apartment is located in the heart of the pedestrian streets of the old town and does not have private parking. However, numerous paid public parking spaces are available along the city walls and are easily reachable on foot.

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Located right in the historic center of Como, VERTICAL GARDEN STUDIO allows you to explore on foot the cobblestone streets, shops, cafés, restaurants, churches, and charming squares of the city. Within about five minutes, you can reach the famous Piazza Duomo with its magnificent Cathedral and the Broletto, Piazza San Fedele with its Romanesque basilica, Via Vittorio Emanuele known for shopping, Piazza Volta, lively all year round for aperitifs and outdoor evenings, and Porta Torre, the historic gateway to the walled city. In another five minutes, you can walk to Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, where you can board Lake Como boats to visit renowned lakeside towns such as Cernobbio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, and Varenna. You can also reach Villa Olmo and its park via the scenic promenade starting from the Hangar, or Villa Geno along the Viale Geno lakeside. At the beginning of Viale Geno, you’ll also find the funicular station to Brunate and its lighthouse—an ideal destination for a panoramic lunch or a hike in the Larian mountains.

How to get there

By car: from the A9 motorway, Como Nord exit, the closest parking areas to the apartment can be reached in 5–10 minutes, from where you can continue on foot.

By train: the nearest stations are Como S. Giovanni and Como Lago, both about a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
