Don't stay here!

After spending 20 minutes driving around and trying to find this place we finally located it to find no reception or anyone to let us in. As the neighbourhood felt very scary we left and stayed at a different hotel in the centre of Como.

Very good price-quality compromise

The real plus of this hotel is the owner, Giorgio, who is always available, at any time and he was even during Xmas holiday bringing us stuff we needed. The location is good, 2.5km from Como center. A very good price/quality compromise. Room is simple and a bit neglected but price justifies it. The owner also accepts dogs in the room, which I found very nice and rare for hotels in Italy.

Ac som skulle finnas fungerade inte under hela vistelsen. Ingen som intresserade sig för att försöka fixa det eller som ens kunde leverera ett utlovat extra lakan. Svårt att få kontakt med personal. Receptionen hade stängt hela tiden. Ingen veckoständning som också skulle vara.

Accoglienza e assistenza voto zero. Per il resto sufficiente. Mancano alcune cose nella stanza e la zona ha pochissimi locali (ristoranti pizzerie) ed il bar più vicino è a circa un km

Nous avons couché sur des canapé-lit. Les draps et serviettes étaient propres mais les couvertures non. Quartier très bruyant (train, voitures, clocher le l'église) mais proche du centre. Petit déjeuner qui n'en était pas un. Tres cher pour la qualité de service. Les hôteliers des environs de Milan ont bien su profiter de l'aubaine Expo ! Je ne crois pas que j'aurais choisi cette residence si j'avais vu la la vraie photo (je doute que celle qui est sur le site existe vraiment).

Gemütliche Bleibe zum guten Preis

Waren hier 4 Nächte einquartiert im 3. Stock unterm Dach, sehr gemütlich, und freuten uns über das gute Preis/Leistungverhältnis. Gratis Parkplätze sind auch was feines. Die Residenz liegt etwas ausserhalb des eigentlichen Zentrums, hat aber eine Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Die Busse fahren allerdings nur tagsüber bis ca. 20:00. Taxi von der Innenstadt kostet ca. 12-14 €. Für uns war das alles prima. Geschlafen haben wir auch gut, die Matratzen sind fest. Wir kommen wohl im nächsten Jahr wieder. Danke Giorgio! Du bist ein toller Gastgeber :-)

Accettabile

La camera era totalmente diversa da come si presenta in foto. Non c'erano i fornelli, ma solo una piastra elettrica, niente sale, nè olio. La doccia era senza tenda e i caloriferi funzionavano solo poche ore al giorno. Il propretario tuttavia è molto disponibile e gentile.
